2. Which data does House of the three Marias process and for what purpose
2.1 In the context of your stay, the following personal data will be processed:

2.2 House of the three Marias processed the personal data referred to in sub 2.1 for the following purposes:
a) your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address – used for contact about the provision of the information requested by you and also for handling the information obtained from you,
b ) your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address – used for registering the bookings and also for the correction of administrative processing thereof,
c) your name, address and telephone number – used for sending invitations and also for information about services and activities of House of the three Marias;
d) Your name, address details, passport details – used for correct handling with the Portuguese authorities, being the Finanças and the SEF, the tax authorities and the foreigners’ service. The data will be kept for as long as required by Portuguese law.
e) your name and bank account number – used to settle payments for services purchased.
2.3 Your name, email address and telephone number will be used up to two years after the end of the agreement to ask you about your experiences with House of the three Marias. We also use this to inform you about the developments of House of the three Marias.
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. 3. Retention periods
House of the three Marias processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your stay, up to a maximum of two years after the end of this stay. However, or as long as the Portuguese law requires this regarding the retention of administration data for the tax and foreigners’ office. We then destroy the personal data.

4.1 House of the three Marias has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
4.2 House of the three Marias does not use the services of third parties for the processing of personal data.
4.3 We only share your data with third parties if this is necessary for the proper execution of the reservation. We only share data after obtaining permission for this.
4.4 House of the three Marias uses the services of WordPress.com for hosting and domain registration. This has taken appropriate measures for the safe storage of your personal data. This exclusively concerns automated systems that do not involve any personal action.
