Barragem do Cabril
Those who prefer car rides have the viewpoint at Barragem do Cabril, which allows them to see the huge lake and, on the opposite side, the deep valley of the Zêzere where there are two bridges. One is the Filipina Bridge, built in the early 17th century, classified as a national monument.

Pedrógão Grande
The municipality of Pedrógão Grande has two national monuments and two others classified as being of public interest. In addition to the Filipina Bridge, the Igreja Matriz (mother church) is also a National Monument. Not far from the Igreja Matriz is the Relógio and it is inviting to take a walk through the historic center. The streets are well arranged, clean and some still retain medieval traits.
